We are excited to announce we are co-sponsoring the English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) 2017 Conference on “Posthuman Materialisms: Knowledge, Economy, Ecology.” The conference will take place Saturday, April 9th, 2017. Mellon-Sawyer Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Environmental Humanities at Georgetown University: “Approaching the Anthropocene: Global Culture and Planetary Change.”

Georgetown University invites applicants for a one-year Mellon-Sawyer Postdoctoral Fellowship on the topic “Approaching the Anthropocene: Global Culture and Planetary Change.” The annual salary is $55,000. Applicants should work in the Environmental Humanities, broadly construed, but might come from any humanities discipline, including Anthropology, Archaeology, Cultural Geography, History, Literary and Cultural Studies, Philosophy, or Religious Studies.
